OC Fair Summer Concert Series

Rebelution, Skip Marley and Niko Rubio bring Roots to the OC Fair Summer Concert Series on Saturday, August 8th, 2016 at the Pacific Amphitheatre! The gates will open at 5pm and music starts at 6pm. You can enjoy an amazing Roots reggae show and experience the OC Fair at the same time for the price of admission to the fair for that one night. 

Rebelution

Eric Rachmany, the lead singer, brings the music to life along with the other members of Rebelution: Rory Carey on percussion, and Marley D. Williams on keyboards, bringing the best performances every night. They received a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album with Falling Into Place in 2017 and have consistently ruled the Billboard Reggae Albums chart ever since with some of their biggest tracks having over 85 million Spotify streams. They have sold out tours and have performed at the main stages of numerous festivals all over the world. The band launched their own hypnotic event in Jamaica and even released customized cannabis products.

Skip Marley

Marley, was born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Miami, Florida, learned to play the piano, drums, guitar and bass. Grammy nominated for Best Reggae Album for Higher Place, Skip Marley was also Grammy nominated for Best R&B Song for “Slow Down” featuring H.E.R. As the grandson of Bob Marley, Skip brings a unique spin of Reggae to the mainstream with hits like “Lions” and “Chained to the Rhythm” with Katy Perry.

The singer/songwriter debuted his first studio album Higher Place in 2017, which earned him two Grammy nominations in total. He became the first Jamaican-born artist to land in the Top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Slow Down” which was also nominated for an MTV VMA. 

Niko Rubio

Los Angeles-based Niko Rubio is a emerging artist who brings her life experiences to her music. Her classic ranchera meets 90s alternative rock/indie pop/dream pop with her Coast California roots and her Mexican half, Rubio brings a unique flavor to her performances. She has written songs for Gwen Stefani, Anuel AA, The Warning and Natalie Jane and toured with the likes of Omar Apollo and has recently performed at festivals such as Lollapalooza and BottleRock. 

Pacific Amphitheatre Information

Pacific Amphitheatre is a large open air amphitheater located in a bowl at 100 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 in the OC Fair & Event Center. All seats have a great view of the stage. The venue has a maximum capacity of 8,042 people. Pacific Amphitheatre provides great food choices beyond normal show fare and a full bar with lots of choices of alcoholic beverages. Parking Information

On site parking is provided for all visitors to the OC Fair & Event Center that arrive by car. Parking is $15 per car and payment is by cash only. Parking reservations are available through Fair Management for arrival through specific Fair gates from the 405 or 55 freeways.
