Rick Springfield & Richard Marx have joined forces to bring delight to their fans with their highly anticipated double-headliner tour called " An Acoustic Evening with Rick Springfield & Richard Marx." Their tour itinerary shall include a show at the Pacific Amphitheatre on Thursday 15th August 2024.
Rick and Richard have done joint shows in the past, but this time, they're pulling off something different. “We’ve done shows where he would play, then I would play, and maybe we would do a song together,” Springfield said. “But this time, we thought it would be more interesting to do the whole show together and play each other’s songs.”
One of the most anticipated songs to be played on this show is Springfield's "Jessie's Girl". This is one of the hits that made Rick a heartthrob which is a truly rocking anthem that elevated him to a global power pop icon. Forty-five years have passed, but "Jessie's Girl" always rocks the house and gets everyone on their feet. "I'm very proud of having written it. It's a gift that it's gone where it's gone, too...That one, it's like, 'Yeah, let's party, let's share this,'" says Springfield.
