Cannons first appeared on the scene with their self released EP, Up All Night, in 2014 and followed it with their debut album, Night Drive, in 2017. In 2019, the band released their second album, Shadows, with the lead single, "Fired for You," getting picked by Netflix for the show, Never Have I Ever, in 2020, and lead to Cannons finally getting signed, and their major-label debut album, Fever Dreams, in 2022.
Last year, Cannons released their fourth studio album, Heartbeat Highway, their second major label album. It was written and produced while touring across the United States, Japan, and Australia, which also inspired many of the songs. Lead singer, Michelle Joy, describes the album as, “a soul stirring journey through the intricacies of love, desire, heartbreak and passion”.
Singer-songwriter Quinn XCII is from Detroit, Michigan and first appeared in 2011, writing and recording his own music as a sophomore at Michigan State University, which led to hid debut EP, Change of Scenery in 2015. By 2017 he was ready with his debut major label album, The Story of Us. Quinn followed it with the albums, From Michigan with Love, in 2019, A Letter to My Younger Self, in 2020, and, Change of Scenery II, in 2021.
In 2023, Quinn XCII released his fifth studio album, The People’s Champ, which features guest appearances from Big Sean, Chelsea Cutler, Adrian Cota, and AJR. The album charted at number 180 on the Billboard 200, with Beyond The Stage stating, "This album is quintessential to what Quinn does best, blending all genres of music ranging from hip-hop to pop to reggae."
